Alan de Genaro, Associate Professor at EAESP-FGV in São Paulo, presented AIBE and its initiatives during the FAPESP's "Italy Day" (Dia da Itália).

The event, organized by the research foundation of the state of São Paulo (FAPESP), took place on 14 June 2024. It aimed to showcase various Paulista-Italian initiatives in the field of academic research, and to provide a platform to discuss and expand future bilateral collaboration. The event attracted an audience of researchers, university managers, and several Italian institutions in São Paulo.

Prof. de Genaro presented AIBE's plans to fundraise to establish a regular series of annual academic workshops in economics held alternately between Italy and Brazil. In addition, AIBE was featured in the poster session held in the foyer.
